The National Center for Meteorology issued a warning today of moderate rain over Makkah. The center said the rain would be accompanied by very strong winds, visibility dropping to almost zero, hail, flash floods and lightning.

It also warned of light rain in Al-Jumum governorate in the Makkah region, with brisk winds, reduced horizontal visibility and lightning. According to the center, the conditions are expected to continue until 9 pm today.
