Tfaseel News is a Saudi multilingual news site that brings the Kingdom's news, regulations and services to residents, visitors and anyone interested, in their own languages. This page explains how we work and what you can expect from us.
1. Accuracy first
We publish a story once its source is verified. We rely mainly on official sources: the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), ministries, government authorities and their approved platforms. We do not publish rumours or stories from unknown sources.
Figures, dates, names and titles are reported as the source gives them, and we never add information that is not in the source.
2. Clear attribution
Every story shows its source, with a link when one is available. Stories from the Saudi Press Agency or another official body are re-edited in our own style and in the reader's language, and credited to their source. Statements and quotes are always attributed to the people who made them.
3. One story, many languages
We publish the same story in several languages. The headline, the order of information or the explanation may differ from one language to another so that every audience can follow it, but the facts, figures and positions are the same in every version. If you notice a real difference between two versions, please tell us so we can correct it.
4. Respect and responsibility
We address readers of every nationality and culture with respect. We do not publish content that insults any religion, nationality, language or community, and we avoid sensational or misleading headlines. In human-interest stories and incidents we protect people's dignity and privacy.
5. Our editorial stance
Tfaseel News is a Saudi publication. In political and regional matters our coverage follows the Kingdom's principles and its declared official positions. We keep news separate from opinion and attribute positions and statements to those who made them.
6. Advertising and paid content
Advertising is kept apart from editorial content and appears in clearly marked places. Advertisers have no influence over which stories we choose or how we write them, and any sponsored content is clearly labelled.
7. Images
We use images from official bodies, credited to them, or our own images. When a story has no photo we use a cover showing the Tfaseel News logo and the source's logo, and we never use an image that suggests something other than what happened.
8. Corrections and updates
When we make a mistake we correct it promptly. Substantial corrections are applied to every language version of the story, and we update stories when new official information becomes available.
To request a correction or report an error, write to us from the Contact us page with the link to the story and a short explanation.
9. Privacy
We do not publish personal data that does not serve the story, and we treat readers' messages confidentially. See our Privacy policy for details.
