Makkah and the governorate of Al-Jumum in Makkah region are expected to see moderate rainfall today, according to an alert from the National Center for Meteorology.

The center listed the accompanying effects as high-speed winds that can bring visibility close to zero, hailstones, torrents and thunderstorms with lightning.

These conditions should persist until 3 p.m., the center added.
