Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday he was deeply saddened that six Pakistani citizens were injured in the terrorist Houthi militia's attack on Riyadh's international airport, according to Independent Urdu. He said Pakistan's embassy was in contact.
The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said an unidentified projectile fell on one of the airport's terminals and started a fire. Coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al-Maliki told AFP that the projectile hit Terminal 4 of King Khalid International Airport.
He added that air defences intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile near the airport.
