The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Rajeh bin Tami Al-Baqami, met Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif during a visit to Lahore, one of the calls marking the start of his diplomatic mission, Okaz reported.

The two held a cordial conversation and discussed several matters of shared interest, reflecting the close ties between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The ambassador's stop in Lahore also took him to the museum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Pakistan's national poet and thinker, where he viewed collections documenting his intellectual and literary life.
