A Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) delegation led by Chairman of the Board Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan has completed a visit to Singapore that included meetings with Singaporean entities, institutions and companies and participation in International Built Environment Week (IBEW) 2026.

The visit, part of the authority's efforts to raise the Saudi contracting sector's international profile and expand cooperation and knowledge sharing, focused on building leadership capacity, exploring advanced construction technologies and practices, cooperating on operations, environmental services, sustainability and digital transformation, and opening direct channels between Saudi and Singaporean contractors.

At the Kingdom's embassy, the delegation met Saudi Ambassador to Singapore Mohammed Al-Ghamdi to discuss strengthening ties with Singaporean entities and companies in contracting, technology and related services and building lasting channels of cooperation between companies and experts in both countries.

The authority also hosted a meeting of Saudi and Singaporean cleaning contractors, where companies and experts discussed investment, operational and environmental services opportunities and ways to turn existing relationships into practical cooperation and partnerships.

The SCA said the visit supports its work to benefit from global expertise and open new avenues for Saudi companies, improving the sector's efficiency and competitiveness as construction projects in the Kingdom grow rapidly.
