Aramco has completed the acquisition of a 49% stake in HUMAIN through a wholly owned subsidiary, while the Public Investment Fund retains 51%, the two parties announced on 1 November 2026.
The transaction includes approximately SAR 9.9 billion in cash contributions to HUMAIN during 2026, alongside the transfer of artificial-intelligence, computing and digital assets. The cash figure was not presented as the total value of every component of the transaction.
The partnership supports HUMAIN’s plan to develop 3 gigawatts of AI data-centre capacity by 2030. That is a future expansion target, not capacity announced as already operating. The company’s activities span data centres, advanced and cloud computing, AI models and solutions for public- and private-sector users.
