Saudi Arabia's spending on alternative routes has allowed energy supplies and trade to keep flowing despite regional uncertainty and disruption to shipping, Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan said, according to Saudi Gazette.
He was speaking on Thursday at the third meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors, held in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
Al-Jadaan argued that an economy's resilience rests on spreading its sources of strength, protecting the foundations of growth and building the capacity to absorb repeated and long-lasting shocks.
