More than 25,000 visitors have flocked to the Unaizah camel auctions grounds (Dahiyat Unaizah) as its third edition opened, offering an experience that combines camel auctions with accompanying heritage, commercial and tourism activities that reflect the place of camels in local folklore and culture, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The venue is drawing visitors and camel and heritage enthusiasts with a range of events and stalls where they can discover traditional products and heritage-related activities. Productive families are also taking part, displaying a variety of goods, which supports local economic activity and creates marketing opportunities for participants.

The grounds help showcase camel-related heritage and boost economic and tourism activity in Unaizah Governorate, attracting visitors and giving participants a platform to present their products and activities in a setting that blends authentic heritage with a diverse programme.
