Saudi Arabia is in a position to supply electricity to artificial intelligence data centers faster than the United States, Siemens Energy chief executive Christian Bruch told Asharq Bloomberg, Independent Persian reported, citing Arab News.

Speaking at the company's facility in Dammam, Bruch said the Kingdom's advanced power infrastructure and defined plans to expand generation capacity could help it win investment in the sector.

He argued that how quickly power can be delivered has become a key factor in competing for AI projects, since with the technology advancing so rapidly, even a six-month lead or delay in bringing a data center online can make a major difference.
