Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Commerce has issued a recall for 769 BAIC BJ40 vehicles from the 2021 and 2022 model years because of a fault in the electrical fuse box, Saudi Gazette reported. The ministry said the problem could lead to a short circuit and raise the risk of fire.

Owners should check on Recalls.sa whether their vehicle identification number (VIN) is among those affected, then get in touch with Petromin BAIC, which will carry out the repair at no cost. Petromin BAIC can be reached on 8004420030.
