Saudi Aramco intends to start operating six to seven gas and liquefied gas facilities between 2025 and 2027, as part of a plan to lift its gas sales by 80% by 2030 from their 2020–2021 levels, Saudi Gazette reported.

Abdulkarim Al-Ghamdi, Aramco's executive vice president for gas, set out the plans on Tuesday during a panel at the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh. He said the Kingdom is building up its gas output capacity and related infrastructure to keep up with rising demand and to give natural gas a bigger place in the energy mix.
