The Shalayel Museum is presenting the long-standing relationship between Saudi kings and falconry at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, held from October 1 to 10 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.
Its display brings together rare photographs and historical pieces documenting the tradition from King Abdulaziz through Kings Saud, Faisal, Khalid, Fahd and Abdullah to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with pictures of hunting trips, royal falcons and their perches, and personal memorabilia.
Visitors can also see photographs of princes, falconers and the Riyadh falcon market from the 1970s and 1985, underlining how deeply the practice is rooted in Saudi society and how it has been handed down through generations.
The museum is one of the cultural experiences offered at the exhibition.
