The National Center for Meteorology expects moderate-to-heavy thunderstorms in parts of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, 29 October 2026. The rain could cause flash flooding, with hail and winds that stir up dust.
The forecast covers parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim and Northern Borders, plus northern parts of the Eastern Province.
Fog may also form in parts of those areas and in parts of Tabuk and Al-Jawf. The forecast concerns parts of these regions, not every town. Source: Saudi Press Agency, reporting the NCM daily forecast dated 29 October 2026.
