The Madrasati e-learning platform now allows principals of general education schools to run self-learning elective courses from start to finish, from assigning them to tracking how students are progressing, Okaz reported.

The first step is to assign the course to a facilitating teacher through the teacher data management icon: the principal selects the teacher, opens course management, chooses the course's learning sequence and adds the facilitator.

Next, students are linked to the course via the courses and resources management icon, by setting the grade and the course type (elective, self-learning), then selecting students in the course's student list and adding them.
