Families in Riyadh have a new international option after The Aster School joined the Royal Commission for Riyadh City's International Schools Attraction Program, becoming the eleventh school in the scheme, which aims to diversify education choices in the capital in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The school takes children and students from six months to 18 years old. Its student-centred approach focuses on academic excellence, creativity, independence and character building in a modern, inclusive setting.
In the early years it draws on Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles, encouraging children to learn through exploration, hands-on experience, inquiry and creative expression.
Teaching is bilingual in Arabic and English and follows the British curriculum from early childhood through secondary school, with an emphasis on critical thinking, problem solving and effective communication.
More information about the programme is available on the Royal Commission's website at rcrc.gov.sa/projects/international-schools-attractions-program.
