Madinah Buses, run by the Madinah Region Development Authority, has updated its service times and increased the number of daily trips on several routes of the city's public transport network, aiming to reduce waiting times between buses and make travel smoother for residents and visitors.

The update covers 16 routes linking neighbourhoods and key facilities in Madinah, including the Haramain High-Speed Railway station, the Prophet's Mosque, the airport and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, as well as residential and service areas.

Under the new timetable, intervals between trips vary according to each route, with set start and end times for the service. Passengers can check the updated schedule, service hours and intervals for each route on the official Madinah Buses social media accounts.

The authority said the update is part of its efforts to improve public transport and the efficiency of the bus network, supporting quality of life and the urban transport goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
