The first Al-Sulaimi Festival opened yesterday in Al-Sulaimi Governorate in the Hail Region. It is organised and supervised by the Hail Region Principality and the regional municipality, represented by the governorate's municipality, and offers entertainment and cultural programmes for all members of the community.

Activities include a children's theatre, singing performances, stalls where productive families display and sell handicrafts, traditional dishes, games for children, competitions and a hospitality corner, along with other family activities.

Festival chairman Thiyab Al-Sulaimi said the event aims to boost tourism and leisure in the governorate and create a destination where residents and visitors can gather and enjoy programmes suited to different age groups.

The festival is part of a broader rise in tourism and entertainment activity across the Hail Region, which organisers said makes the region's governorates more attractive as leisure destinations and supports community and economic activity.
