This year's Saudi Winter programme brings more than 1,800 tourism products, along with a range of events and activities, to the Kingdom's leading winter destinations: Riyadh, AlUla, Al-Qassim, Hail, Jeddah, Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa, Madinah and the Red Sea.

The line-up was presented as the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) concluded the programme's annual workshop, held under the patronage of Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb and attended by more than 100 public and private sector partners. Participants looked at how tourism businesses and related sectors can work together to raise the sector's readiness and offer a complete experience for every type of visitor.

Hotels, hospitality providers, travel and tourism firms, event organisers, and entertainment and shopping venues showcased new products and exclusive offers, widening the choice available to tourists during the season.

“We are working with our partners to turn this great diversity into experiences that are easy to access and book, with offers and products suited to different segments and target markets,” said STA CEO Aqeel AlShaibani. He added that the aim is for tourists to find the experience they are looking for and then discover more options that give them extra reasons to enjoy the destination and stay longer.

Activities span entertainment, nature, culture and seasonal pursuits, catering for families and children as well as friends and groups.
