Red Sea Global has announced the opening of Grand Hyatt on Shura Island at The Red Sea destination, according to the Saudi Press Agency on 31 October 2026. The resort has 430 rooms, suites and villas, alongside restaurants and family facilities.

Its event venues cover more than 2,400 square metres, including a 1,390-square-metre main ballroom and a smaller 683-square-metre ballroom. Conference rooms and outdoor spaces are intended for gatherings ranging from business meetings and exhibitions to weddings.

The resort is close to Shura Island’s marina, shops and restaurants. The company said the opening expands the destination’s capacity to accommodate leisure and business travellers and host conferences and other events.
