Seasonal camping applications are now open through Eastern Province Municipality’s website. The municipality has prepared 680 pitches at the desert park in Al-Bayda Governorate, across roughly six million square metres, for citizens and residents visiting during winter.

Applicants use the municipality website’s individual services section, then the camping service, and can track requests online. After completing the procedures, beneficiaries collect their allocated site from the municipal office inside the park under the approved process.

Preparations include access roads, cleaning, organised pitches and safety coordination. Space has also been set aside for productive families and mobile vendors. Visitors were urged to follow camping instructions and protect the natural environment.

The announcement did not state camping fees or an application closing date. Original source: Saudi Press Agency, 2 November 2026, 20:40 Riyadh time.
