The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) warned today of moderate to heavy rain over Jazan region, accompanied by very strong winds, near-zero horizontal visibility, hail, flash floods and lightning.

The warning covers Jazan city and the governorates of Al-Harth, Al-Dayer (Bani Malik), Al-Raith, Al-Aridah, Al-Eidabi, Fifa, Harub, Al-Tuwal, Samtah, Ahad Al-Masarihah, Abu Arish, Damad, Sabya, Al-Darb and Baish, as well as Al-Futayhah centre.

According to the centre, the conditions will continue until 9 pm.
