Students from Yanbu Industrial College and Yanbu Technical Institute have won the first three places in the International Society of Automation (ISA) 2026 competition in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The competition was held in Al-Khobar under the sponsorship of Saudi Aramco. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are among the fastest-developing fields and a key driver of innovation and technological transformation.

The result reflects the strong academic level, advanced technical skills and promising abilities of the college's and institute's students in these fields.

It also builds on the efforts of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu to support education and technical training, develop the skills of national talent and enable students to take part in specialised competitions, helping to prepare qualified Saudi professionals for the needs of the labour market and future industries.
