The National Early Warning Platform for Emergencies issued a warning alert in Riyadh, according to Al Riyadh newspaper, calling on citizens and residents to abide by official instructions.

The platform asked people to head to the nearest safe place inside buildings and to keep away from windows, open areas and danger sites. It stressed that no one should go outside until the danger has passed, and that people should avoid gathering or filming.

It also urged everyone to follow the instructions issued by the competent authorities through official channels.
