Administrative committees of the General Directorate of Passports across the Kingdom's regions issued a total of 20,954 decisions during the Hijri month of Rabi' Al-Thani 1448 AH against citizens and residents found to have broken residency, labour and border security regulations.

The penalties handed down ranged from prison terms and financial fines to deportation from the Kingdom.

The directorate again warned citizens and residents, whether business owners or individuals, not to transport, employ or house anyone violating these regulations, not to cover up for them, and not to help them in any way to find work, accommodation or transport.
