Saudi national taekwondo athlete Sabah Asiri has promised to compete again after suffering a serious injury to her hand in the attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi group on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Gazette reported. She was on her way home after a gold-medal performance, and now faces a fight to recover.
Asiri, who competes for the national team and Al Shabab Club, described the frightening moments in an interview posted by the Saudi Ministry of Health on its official X account. She said she had been waiting with her father to board a flight to Jeddah when the attack took place.
