Saudi Arabia has started applying final anti-dumping duties of between 15.8% and 38.7% on aluminium easy-open lids for drinks cans imported from China, Saudi Gazette reported. The duties, set for five years, entered into force on Tuesday, October 13.

The decision was issued by Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and chairman of the board of the General Authority of Foreign Trade. The measure aims to protect local manufacturers and keep competition fair in the domestic market.
