The Australian government has denounced the recent attacks on Saudi Arabia as “unacceptable,” singling out the strike on King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong said Canberra condemned the attacks against the Kingdom, noting that the assault on the Riyadh airport had left a number of innocent people dead or wounded.

Wong also called for an immediate end to all attacks aimed at civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, underlining that such targets must be spared.
