Libya has declared that it stands fully with Saudi Arabia — its leadership, government and people — against any threat to the Kingdom's security, stability, sovereignty or territorial integrity.

The Foreign Ministry of the Government of National Unity, formally the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, renewed in a statement its firm denunciation of the strikes carried out against the Kingdom during the last two days, which hit airports and energy installations as well as other sites.

The ministry said it was deeply worried by the escalation, which has caused deaths and injuries, damaged airport facilities and disrupted flights.

It extended heartfelt condolences to the victims' families and wished those hurt a quick recovery.
