Saudi Arabia's Board of Grievances has invited public feedback on a draft amendment to the implementing regulations of the Law of Procedure before the Board, publishing a survey on the unified government consultation platform, Istitlaa.
The survey will remain open until the first week of November 2026. It is aimed at judicial and legal professionals, government administrative bodies, users of administrative judiciary services, and specialists and members of the public with an interest in the subject.
Participants are asked for their views on proposed additions to the paragraphs of the implementing regulations covering Articles 33 and 44. The changes would govern appeals against judgments issued in minor claims, requests to correct, interpret or reconsider those judgments, and the related procedures, including whether such judgments can be challenged.
According to the Board, the amendment and the consultation around it aim to make the handling of cases more efficient, clarify the procedures that follow judgments, strike a balance between the nature of a case and the time taken to hear it, and improve litigation procedures overall. The step is one of several projects to develop judicial services within the Board.
