Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, sponsored the signing of a community partnership agreement to carry out the second phase of completion works on Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road in Buraydah, at a total estimated cost of about SAR 9.7 million, according to SPA.
The agreement brings together Qassim Region Municipality, Qassim Cement Company, Burma Trading and Contracting Company, and Radian Engineering Consultants. It was signed as the Governor received the region's mayor, Eng. Mohammed Al-Mujalli, and representatives of the participating parties.
The Governor stressed the importance of the road, which is nearly 60 kilometres long and links the north of the region with its south, connecting Buraydah with several governorates up to the Hail–Qassim expressway, improving traffic flow and the efficiency of the road network.
"We attach great importance to this road as a vital axis in the region's road network, and we look forward to completing its phases so that it is fully used, strengthens links between Buraydah and the region's governorates, and serves residents and economic and development activity," he said.
He praised the initiative of Qassim Cement and Burma Trading and Contracting in supporting the project, describing community partnership as an important path for strengthening the private sector's contribution to development and infrastructure that serves the region's people and visitors.
