Volunteers from Umm Al-Qura University's "Rafid Al-Haramain" team have started serving pilgrims at their accommodation near Al-Rajhi Mosque in Makkah, as part of the university's efforts to help pilgrims and encourage volunteering this Hajj season.
The volunteers greet and guide pilgrims, provide field support and answer their questions, helping them move around and feel at ease from the moment they reach their lodgings.
The university said the work reflects its ongoing support for the Hajj, Umrah and visit system, drawing on its human, academic, research and volunteer resources and training volunteers in cooperation with the relevant bodies.
