The Saving Food Association in Tabuk Region took part in the 2026 agricultural products festival, using the event to build links with local farmers and discuss how surplus produce that is still fit to eat can be collected and delivered to eligible beneficiaries in line with safety and quality standards.

Dr. Fahd Al-Balawi, chairman of the association’s board, said its presence at the festival reflects its commitment to spreading a culture of saving food and cutting food waste in the region.

He said the association wants to raise public awareness of preserving food and other resources, and invited farmers, producers and festival-goers to learn about and support its programs so that more surplus produce is put to use and reaches those who qualify for help.
