The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said its Qiwa platform recorded more than 3 million services in the second quarter of 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to develop the labour market and improve the digital services offered to establishments and individuals, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the quarter, 419,381 work contracts for Saudis were documented and 258,829 new Saudi beneficiaries joined the platform. The ministry said documenting work contracts protects the rights of both parties, clarifies the obligations of worker and employer, and increases reliability and transparency in the contractual relationship.

Professional document services also expanded: Qiwa issued 163,349 salary certificates and 63,736 experience certificates for Saudis, supporting career development and the documentation of work experience and employment data.

On localisation, the platform issued 72,407 certificates to establishments meeting approved Saudization requirements, a service that helps track companies’ compliance and efforts to raise national participation in the labour market.

The ministry noted that Qiwa recently won the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) prize awarded by the International Telecommunication Union, followed by the Gulf Customer Experience Awards (GCXA 2026). It said it will keep developing digital labour market services to protect rights and improve the experience of workers and establishments, in line with the Labour Market Strategy and Vision 2030.
