Saudi Arabia’s implementing regulations for the Enforcement Law take effect today, Thursday 29 October 2026, alongside the law. The start date was announced by the Saudi Press Agency on 23 October when the justice minister approved the regulations.

The 54 articles set out enforcement procedures, time limits and controls. They also address enforcement of maintenance, custody and visitation judgments, and conditions for registering bills of exchange and promissory notes on approved electronic platforms.

The regulations identify orders and decisions that may be challenged. The announcement describes a framework for enforcing rights while preserving safeguards for creditors and debtors; this report does not assess the procedure applicable to any individual case.
