Civil Defense teams in Qilwah governorate rescued 18 people after a fire broke out in a room inside a residential building, Al Riyadh newspaper reported, citing a post by the General Directorate of Civil Defense on X. The blaze was caused by children tampering with something in the room.

Civil Defense said specialist teams were sent straight to the scene, where they put out the fire and carried out the rescue, bringing all 18 people to safety.
