Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health and the National Center for Privatization have moved the national chronic kidney disease care and dialysis project to the request-for-proposals stage. The 12 companies and consortia that were pre-qualified earlier have been invited to submit bids in line with the approved requirements and procedures. The project will provide services across the Kingdom's regions under a public-private partnership model.
It aims to raise the quality of care for kidney patients, make services easier to reach, and improve operational efficiency and sustainability by drawing on the private sector and attracting quality investment, in support of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
