Istitlaa, the unified online public consultation platform run by the Saudi Competitiveness and Business Center, has published 41 draft projects on economic and development matters, prepared with 22 government entities. Stakeholders can submit comments and suggestions before the drafts are finalised.
One of them is a set of paid parking rules from the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, intended to improve how paid parking works and how investment in it is regulated. Comments on this draft can be submitted until November 12, 2026.
The General Entertainment Authority has posted a draft regulation setting the fees for issuing, renewing, amending, suspending and cancelling licences, permits and accreditation certificates for entertainment and supporting activities, as well as the fee charged on entertainment ticket sales. Its consultation closes on November 14, 2026.
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture is also seeking views until November 14, 2026 on an updated infection control manual for veterinary facilities, covering animal health requirements such as the use of veterinary products and the reporting and handling of animal diseases.
Publishing draft laws and regulations on the platform is meant to make the legislative process more transparent and give the public, government bodies and businesses a say in rules that shape the business environment.
