Inspectors from the Ministry of Commerce made more than 30 thousand visits to businesses and retail outlets in all regions of the Kingdom between 1 and 15 October 2026. The checks covered supermarkets, warehouses, electrical and electronics stores and other commercial premises.

The inspections focused on making sure goods and a range of alternatives were available, that prices were clearly shown on price tags and electronic price labels, that commercial discounts were genuine, and that businesses were complying with the ministry's regulations.
