Deputy Minister of National Guard Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood opened a mobile cybersecurity awareness exhibition organised by the ministry in cooperation with the National Cybersecurity Authority. The opening was attended by the authority's Governor, Eng. Majed bin Mohammed Al-Mazyed, and a number of ministry officials and staff, as part of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign.

The two-day exhibition aims to raise cybersecurity awareness among ministry personnel, build a cyber culture that helps reduce evolving risks, reinforce the values of protecting national security and strengthen coordination between national bodies working on cyber awareness.

Its six pavilions explain cybersecurity concepts and their national importance and highlight safe behaviours through interactive methods and modern tools. Visitors can watch live simulations of major cyberattacks on individuals and organisations and receive guidance on best practices in the workplace.

Separately, the ministry is continuing to develop its cyber capabilities through the "Bawasil" cyber exercise platform, which simulates realistic threat scenarios in a virtual environment and makes it possible to measure readiness, sustain capabilities and develop skills.
