The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, Dr. Bandar bin Asaad Al-Sajjan, today opened the 30th edition of the Graduate and Job Fair at the institute's headquarters in Riyadh. More than 20 government, semi-government, private and non-profit entities are taking part.
The fair offers more than 400 job opportunities for male and female graduates. It runs for three days, from October 18 to 20, and is open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The institute said the event is part of its efforts to improve employment prospects and link its training outcomes to labour market needs.
This year a dedicated interview pavilion allows participating entities to hold direct interviews with candidates. The Social Development Bank is also running specialised workshops to help graduates explore entrepreneurship, freelance work and other career options.
After the opening, Al-Sajjan toured the pavilions and was briefed by representatives on fields of work, required specialisations and recruitment procedures.
The fair coincides with the institute's celebration of 1,055 male and female graduates of its preparatory programmes at the main centre in Riyadh, as part of the 30th Graduate and Job ceremony.
