Aseer Region Municipality, through Al-Sahel Municipality, has put several new investment opportunities on offer in tourism, commercial, service and advertising activities, aiming to improve the investment climate, grow municipal revenue and open municipal sites and facilities to investors.
The main opportunity is a project to restore, operate and maintain hotel and tourist chalets on the Red Sea waterfront, covering more than 11 thousand square metres, to develop tourist accommodation and widen the choice for visitors.
Investors can also bid to build, restore, operate and maintain two commercial-residential complexes, one of 1200 square metres and the other of 6970 square metres, and to operate and maintain two electronic advertising screens measuring 12 and 72 square metres.
The municipality said the opportunities are offered through public tender and invited investors and entrepreneurs to check details, terms and deadlines on the Furas municipal investment platform. It said the move is part of efforts to expand private sector participation in developing municipal assets and boost tourism and commercial investment in the region's coastal centres.
