His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, visited Aramco Stadium today to review the latest progress on the project and its readiness to host major sports and entertainment events.

Touring several of the stadium's facilities, Prince Saud said the sports and entertainment projects under way in the Eastern Province reflect the development of its infrastructure and the variety of its facilities, and strengthen its standing as a destination for major competitions and events. He stressed the importance of completing the facilities to the highest standards to meet the expectations of fans and visitors.

Saudi Aramco President and CEO Amin H. Nasser briefed the governor on the progress of work, the stages completed, the technical equipment, and the facilities and services provided for fans.

Aramco Stadium is one of the region's most prominent sports and entertainment projects. It has a capacity of more than 47 thousand spectators and an architectural design inspired by the region's marine environment, with advanced technical facilities.
