Foreign investors put SAR159 billion of direct investment into Saudi Arabia in 2025, a rise of 33.5% compared with 2024, while the total stock of foreign direct investment (FDI) climbed 8.3% to SAR1.059 trillion.
The figures extend several years of growth: inflows in 2025 were five times their 2017 level, and the FDI stock doubled over the same period.
Between 2017 and 2025, inflows grew at a compound annual rate of 24%, against 10% for the stock.
The indicators point to the Kingdom's rising appeal for foreign investors and growing confidence in the Saudi economy, backed by the economic and structural reforms since Saudi Vision 2030 was launched and ongoing work to improve the investment environment, diversify the economy and attract high-quality investment.
