The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) issued an alert today for moderate to heavy rain over Jazan Region, accompanied by very strong winds, near-zero horizontal visibility, hail, flash floods and lightning.

The alert covers Jazan city and the governorates of Al-Harth, Al-Dayer (Bani Malik), Al-Reeth, Al-Aridhah, Al-Edabi, Fifa, Haroob, Al-Tuwal, Samtah, Ahad Al-Masarihah, Abu Arish, Damad, Sabya, Al-Darb and Baish, as well as Al-Futaihah center and Farasan Island.

The center said the conditions are expected to continue until 10 pm.
