The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) issued an alert today for heavy rain over Al-Baha Region, accompanied by very strong winds, zero horizontal visibility, flash floods, hail and lightning.

The alert covers Al-Baha city and the governorates of Baljurashi, Al-Mandaq, Bani Hassan, Al-Qura, Al-Makhwah, Qilwah, Ghamid Al-Zinad and Al-Hajrah, as well as nearby areas. The center expects the conditions to last until 9 pm.

In a separate alert, the NCM forecast moderate rain over Al-Aqiq Governorate and its surroundings, with very strong winds, near-zero visibility, flash floods, hail and lightning until 10 pm.
