Foreign direct investment flowing into Saudi Arabia's emerging economic sectors has risen 162 percent over five years, while total fixed capital formation is up 52 percent, Minister of Investment Fahad Al-Saif said, according to Saudi Gazette.

Speaking at the World Petroleum Congress in Riyadh on Monday, Al-Saif said the coming stage would move the focus away from growing investment volumes and toward better quality and productivity, alongside a more competitive economy.
