More than 30 billion operations have now been carried out through Tawakkalna, the Kingdom's comprehensive national app, over seven years, an average of 88 million a day. The figure reflects strong uptake among citizens, residents and visitors, and the success of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in driving the country's digital transformation.
According to official app statistics, more than 36.7 million users have registered, while daily active users exceed 2.1 million. They can access over 1,800 services provided by more than 380 government, private and non-profit bodies.
Tawakkalna brings these services together in a single digital experience. Its wallet holds more than 800 types of digital cards and documents, which have been viewed over 3.6 billion times, and more than 2.1 billion messages have been sent through the app.
By making services available anywhere and at any time on a secure, trusted national platform, the app aims to build confidence in digital services, cut paperwork and reduce the need for in-person visits, while supporting the digital economy and encouraging the public, private and non-profit sectors to add their services in pursuit of a higher quality of life.
Tawakkalna continues to develop its platform so that services, cards and messages can be accessed in one place. It is available on Google Play, the App Store and AppGallery.
