The Ministry of Tourism has published a special report, "Global Investments in Saudi Tourism," documenting the wave of international investors entering and expanding in the Kingdom's tourism market, with more than 50 global hospitality brands growing their presence. The report was launched at the Future Hospitality Summit in Riyadh, held June 22 to 24, 2026.

According to the report, strong inbound and domestic demand and an integrated investment environment have given the Kingdom the largest tourism development pipeline in the Middle East and one of the largest in the world in terms of growth momentum and luxury room supply.

New tourism investment has passed $120 billion, supporting a pipeline expected to add more than 200,000 new rooms by 2030, around 50% of them to be delivered by the private sector.

The report highlights the reforms that have drawn global capital, including updated regulations, simpler licensing, investment incentives, digital services and one-stop business centers. It also cites diverse demand drivers, better connectivity, world-class infrastructure and national training programs that supply projects with locally trained professionals.

The ministry said the report is part of its effort to highlight untapped opportunities with transparent data, helping investors navigate the market and boosting private-sector participation to meet Saudi Vision 2030 targets. The full report is on the ministry's website.
