The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties has granted institutional accreditation to the Makkah Health Cluster's hospitals in the holy sites as seasonal training centers for the Hajj season, a first among seasonal training centers.

The accreditation covers East Arafat Hospital, Namira Hospital, Jabal Al-Rahmah Hospital, Mina Emergency Hospital, Mina Al-Wadi Hospital, Mina Al-Jisr Hospital and Mina New Street Hospital.

It highlights the cluster's leading role in developing health education and training, and is expected to improve the quality of clinical training and the skills of health practitioners in line with the highest institutional standards.

The step builds on the cluster's efforts to adopt best practices in education and training and to raise the readiness of health facilities in the holy sites, in keeping with the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
